The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it is actually alarmed concerning the higher variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is status sassa often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area daily. The service level made for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tough for that Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to enable the servicing of all buyers and increase entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
